Hola Vox,
I'm trying to stay awake in Mrs. Cobb's class and I'm not doing a very good job so I needed something to do besides Trig. I bet you'll never guess what I am going to do now. I've decided to write a note to my bestest friend in the whole wide world. That's right, Blogspot. Ha-ha, just teasing. No really, it's you.
So have you talked to Flickr today? I saw him this morning. I've never really paid attention to him until now. How does he get his hair to do that?
I know you are worried about homecoming and whether anyone is going to vote for you and all. I figure that's why during lunch you asked me what I liked the most about you. It's not like you to fish for a compliment, so I'll what only your best friend can and remind you of all your incredible qualities. I wouldn't be friends with just anybody!
Yes, you are totally going to win homecoming because, listen the sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, waistoids, dweebies, dickheads—they all adore you. They think you're a righteous dude. Heehee, I love Ferris. Do you have that movie in your Totally 80s collection? But truly, you manage to be able to talk to everyone regardless of who they are or what they believe in. I know it's cheesy, but I can't think of one person who's met you and doesn't like you. Honest. I think you just naturally bring out the best in people.
I also wanted to say you are the bestest friend ever. It means a lot to me that I can tell you anything and if it's just between our little circle of friends, I know you'll keep it that way. You've never accidentally let something I said in confidence slip out when you were talking to my mom *cough* MySpace *cough* (although that was probably more my fault anyway!)
We always have the best conversations because you come up with something new for me to think about everyday. And you don't make any judgments when I share all the things I love (my pics, music and books) with you. You just absorb it all. Everything is a little easier with you as my friend. I guess when it comes down to it, you complete me. Heehee, I crack myself up!
Anyway, the bell is getting ready to ring. Feel better? Are you ready for that test 3rd period? Are you fired up about those verbs and prepositions? Uh-huh, that is exactly what I thought you would say.
Later,
Nicole
P.S. And hey, don't worry; I'm totally going to write you every day (and send pics too) when I go on my family vacation next summer. I'll get you snow globes from each place we stay. Do ya think they have snow globes of the Eiffel Tower?
